Pricing
Boundary Retracement Surveys
Project pricing can vary largely based on the size, age of the property, terrain, vegetation and location of the project. Every project requires historical record research of the project property and surrounding lands. The fieldwork begins after reviewing the records by surveying the existing monuments and evidence of the boundaries. The results of the fieldwork are compared with the research and we then reconcile all the information to arrive at a conclusion about the boundaries. A second field trip is then needed to set the new or missing monuments. Finally, we will draft a plat detailing our findings.

Construction Staking
Project pricing will vary based on the type, size and location of the construction project. Depending on the contractors needs we can provide a lump sum fee to accomplish a detailed list of stake-out needs or we can provide continual support for larger more detailed projects on a time and material basis (hourly rate). The lump sum fee will typically be for a one time stake out of the requested items and any replacement staking or out of scope requests will be billed on a time and material basis. For the continually supported construction projects we will provide our stake-out crew to work with the contractor as needed to layout daily tasks.

Subdivision Surveys
Project pricing is determined by multiple factors such as the initial boundary retracement survey of the parcel to be subdivided and platting costs, local application fees, planning module for sewage disposal fee, review fees and/or hearing fees. The cost is also determined by the number of new lots to be created. The fees from the county and local municipality can range from $100 up to $1500 or more.

Topographic Surveys
Project pricing can vary largely based on the size, terrain, vegetation and location of the project. We will conduct a thorough field survey of the site collecting horizontal and vertical coordinates of all site features and grades. Storm and Sewer lines will have inverts and pipe sizes determined from field measurements if accessible. A map detailing site features, underground utilities that were able to be determined using conventional methods and contours will then be generated and provided to client.

FEMA/Flood Elevation Certificate
There are many reasons elevation certificate costs vary, including: occupancy type, structure type, location, timing and water body data. We perform research on FEMAs website for Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMS) on the project area. These maps determine what flood zone the property is located in, potential flood risk and Base Flood Elevations (BFEs). An elevation survey is then performed on the property GPS surveying equipment and conventional survey methods to correlate the elevations of structures and its adjacent grades, equipment and flood openings in the buildings on the project to be insured in relation to FEMAs flood study. Once all necessary information is gathered on site that is required on the Elevations Certificate the we fill out the Elevation Certificate with the elevations and site data collected in the field and provide a signed and sealed certificate to the client that is then passed on to local flood plain manager or insurance agent.
